Important Update: BMAT is no longer required for Oxford and Cambridge medicine applications.

In 2024, the UCAT is the only admissions test for undergraduate medicine in the UK. Register online between June 18th and September 19th, and take the test between July and September.

Cambridge Applicants: Complete the My Cambridge Application

In addition to your UCAS application, Cambridge applicants must complete the My Cambridge Application (SAQ). This form is designed to gather more information about you and your application.

  • The SAQ becomes available a few days after submitting your UCAS application.
  • It takes approximately one hour to complete and can be done in multiple sessions.

Hear back from Oxford and Cambridge in January.

Expect to receive your offer decisions around January 9th (Oxford) and a later date in January (Cambridge). You’ll be notified both directly from the university and through your UCAS account.

Remember:

  • Your college offer will follow a few weeks later.
  • You’ll receive a general offer from the university first.
