Don’t miss out on Oxbridge Open Days!
These events are your chance to experience the university firsthand, explore different colleges, and ask questions. While dates vary, you can typically expect open days in June, July, and September. Both Oxford and Cambridge offer in-person and virtual events.

Important Update: BMAT is no longer required for Oxford and Cambridge medicine applications.
In 2024, the UCAT is the only admissions test for undergraduate medicine in the UK. Register online between June 18th and September 19th, and take the test between July and September.
September 1st 2024
Your UCAS application is due September 1st.
Take your time to review your personal statement and academic reference before submitting your final application. While it’s great to finish early, ensure everything is polished and perfect.

The Engineering and Science Admissions Test (ESAT) and Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA) are both administered by Pearson VUE.

The LNAT is a required admissions test for law programs at Oxbridge and other UK universities.

Cambridge Applicants: Complete the My Cambridge Application
In addition to your UCAS application, Cambridge applicants must complete the My Cambridge Application (SAQ). This form is designed to gather more information about you and your application.

- All forms must be submitted by 6 PM on the deadline day.
- The SAQ becomes available a few days after submitting your UCAS application.
- It takes approximately one hour to complete and can be done in multiple sessions.
- If you’re facing challenging circumstances, consider submitting the Extenuating Circumstances Form (SCF).

Some Oxford courses may require you to submit a piece of written work based on a brief. This could be an essay, creative piece, or other form of writing.

Congratulations! You’ve been shortlisted for an interview.
Expect an invitation from your chosen college about two weeks before the interview date.

Hear back from Oxford and Cambridge in January.
Expect to receive your offer decisions around January 9th (Oxford) and a later date in January (Cambridge). You’ll be notified both directly from the university and through your UCAS account.
Remember:
- Your college offer will follow a few weeks later.
- You’ll receive a general offer from the university first.
